Hide prices from your guests
Take the prices off your wishes for visitors — amounts for group funds and cash wishes always stay visible, and here is why.
Sometimes you would rather your guests did not see what a wish costs — on a wedding list, say, where the price is beside the point. That is what Hide wish prices is for.
Switching it on
- Open your wishlist
- Go to the Settings tab
- Turn on Hide wish prices
- Save
What guests see afterwards
- No prices on your wishes — and no totals or progress bars derived from prices either
- Sorting by price disappears for guests
- No prices turn up in the link preview or when a single wish is shared
The one exception: money wishes
On group funds and on wishes where guests can contribute money, the amounts always stay visible — otherwise nobody would know how much is still missing. That is deliberate and it cannot be switched off: anyone being asked to chip in needs the number.
So a list made up only of group funds still shows its collection progress.
You keep seeing everything
As the owner, and as a co-owner, you still see every price and every total exactly as before — with a note telling you that prices and totals are hidden from guests, so you know what your visitors are looking at.
